about

This was recorded in the same position as "Medina, 9am". The previous day I noted down the time when the muezzins start to chant: around 6pm. The rooftop provided panoramic access to the city's soundscape so I went back and recorded a contrapunctus with all the muezzins participating. The loud one was chanting from the nearby mosque of Ben Youssef.
